Property sales figures for the year 2016.

The statistics show an increase of 13.5% in 2016 with a price per square meter of 1.309€, what is a variation from year to year of 2.4%.

According to the puclic notaries there has been a slight increase in the number of sales and in the average price.

The number of property sales was of 458.781 in 2016. The resale market had an increase of 16.1% meanwhile the new built market had a decrease of -7.6%.

The average price increased by 2.4%. This is due to the increase in price of apartments by 2.9% and independent houses by 1.0%.

The public notaries forecast for the year 2017 are of slight increase.
